Paying for a St. Peter’s Catholic School Education

A Catholic education at St. Peter’s is an investment in a bright future for your child, and it is our goal to make this education available to all children who seek it, regardless of their family’s income.

Here is a breakdown of the cost to attend St. Peter’s for the 2026-2027 school year:

participating family TUITION*:                                 

1 child     $6,600 per year or $660 per month

2 children     $12,200 per year or $1,220 per month

3 children     $16,800 per year or $1,680 per month

4 children     $20,400 per year or $2,040 per month

*Participating family involves:

  • 20 service hours for a two parent/guardian home

  • 10 service hours for a single parent/guardian home

  • Fundraise $300 for one child ($100 for each additional child)

non-participating family TUITION:                                 

$8,800 per year or $880 per month for each child

ALL families must attend all mandatory parent meetings, parent teacher conferences, family Mass and abide by all school rules.

Financial Aid for Your Child

We are committed to doing everything we can to make St. Peter’s an option for your child, and we will work closely with you to find any and all financial aid sources we can. Here are the three most common sources for current St. Peter’s students.

Basic Fund Scholarships

The BASIC Fund provides scholarships on a first-come, first-served basis to families in financial need. The awards are based on household size and income and cover up to $2,750 of the tuition per year. Approximately 70% of our students receive BASIC fund scholarships.

Archdiocesan Elementary Family Grant

The San Francisco Archdiocese offers over $1,000,000 in scholarships each year to over 1,400 students. Grants are awarded on a need basis. Approximately 25% of our students receive these grants.

April 15th, 2026

St. Peter’s Support a Student Program

We offer additional financial aid to families who demonstrate serious financial need. Families may apply for additional aid by submitting a request with the Tuition Accounts Office.
